The form on this website sends us a request, not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is confirmed when we call you. If you cannot make it, please call 011 706 7791 so we can offer the time to someone else.

Quotes and prices

Prices for eye tests, frames and lenses depend on what you need and choose. We give you a quote before you commit. The savings calculator on this website is an illustration, not a quote.

Discovery and medical aid

Discovery members who qualify get 20% off frames and lenses at Bryanston Optometrists as a Discovery preferred provider, subject to Discovery's terms and conditions. We claim from your medical aid on your behalf. What your medical aid covers depends on your plan; we check before you choose.

Glasses and contact lenses

Glasses with single vision lenses are usually ready in 2 to 3 working days, and multifocals in 5 to 10 working days. We call you when they are ready.

When you order glasses we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total, and the balance when you collect. You can pay by card, cash or EFT.

Frames carry a warranty of 1 to 2 years and lenses 2 to 3 years, depending on the product. Ask us which applies to yours.

If you struggle to get used to a new prescription or multifocal lenses, come back to us: we have a non-adapt policy. Ask us for the details when you order.

Adjustments are free. Repairs are charged only when a part has to be ordered, and we tell you the cost before we start.

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 apply in full.
